I am in debt and trying to pay back 3 different debts, $20,000 total. The bank wont help me I tired. Is there anywhere I can get a loan for that much, so I don't have to go to bankruptcy?

Hello Brent, You should consider filing a Consumer Proposal. This option allows for the consolidation of your debts into a single (normally monthly) payment, without additional interest. The payment period is flexible, up to 60 months and allows for lump sum payments. The payment amount is usually fixed and based on your current circumstances and is not increased if your income increases. As soon as you file a Consumer Proposal, you receive protection from your creditors and you will know within 45 days if your proposal has been accepted.
