Question:

Once a trustee has gotten a court discharge from a file how long does it take before a creditor can try and get payment from the bankrupt?

Answer:

A creditor can only restart collection action against a bankrupt if the bankrupt remains undischarged. If this is the case, the stay of proceedings is lifted once the Court signs the Trustee Discharge Order thereby reinstating the rights of creditors to take collection action.
