Bankruptcy Calgary Edmonton Q&A Forum

would my income tax be cleared in bankruptcy

Grant Thornton Limited

Mar 19, 2014

Yes, Income tax debt is discharged in bankruptcy. Individuals with tax debt of $200,000 or more will have to appear before a Court for an application for discharge and may be required to make a payment to obtain a dischrge. Please call me, I would be happy to explain theses requirements. Thanks for the question
