Bankruptcy Calgary Edmonton Q&A Forum

Question:

Is my common law partners income affected if I claim bankruptcy? All the debts are mine.

From:

Grant Thornton Limited

Date:

Feb 08, 2015

Answer:

Your common law partner's income should be disclosed to the Trustee, however your common law partner can choose not to disclose her income. Non disclosure can impact the voluntary payments you will required to make to the Trustee.
