Good morning, I am Prabhu Gopal in October 2015 I bought a new car by financing, unfortunately I don't have job from nov 15 2015, still i am searching for job, until now I am paying my car on time,but I am not sure that how long that I pay my loan so I need your help I voluntarily surrender my car or I file for a bankruptcy?

Hi Prabhu, If you wanted to keep your vehicle then you may want to contact the bank to defer payments for a couple of months to give you more time to find employment. However, if you have decided to surrender the vehicle then you can let the bank seize the car once your payments are in default. Depending on your vehicle financing contract the bank may be able to enforce collection for the shortfall. Perhaps you would like to meet with one of our professionals to review the financing contract and discuss your financial options.
