Question:

Can I stay in school and continue receiving loans if I file for bankruptcy?

Answer:

Hello, It is most likely Student Loans will not continue to fund your studies during a bankruptcy. You however can stay in school if you were able to pay for the tuition and books on your own. You will also lose your tuition credits (for filing your taxes) when you file for bankruptcy. If you had any other concerns please contact our office at 310-8888.
